Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month

CALM is an engaging experiential opportunity that encourages students from K to 12 in all 10 provinces to learn about and celebrate Canada’s incredible agriculture and food story. By connecting classrooms with farmers, agriculture specialists and #AgEducation resources!

  • This year we are excited to highlight our friend Blossom the Bee. We are doing this by offering a virtual book of Blossoms Big Job and Bee activity sheets. Along with our usual fully loaded #AgEducation resource kits send directly to you filled with books, resources, stickers and more.

  • That's not all. We have more exciting virtual #AgEducation activities, which include:
  • -A Virtual Ag Adventure Day will consist of clips of PEI farms and a question activity sheet.
  •  -A chance to win a Beehive to design and paint with your students that will be used by a PEI beekeeper and as a home for many bees.
  • -A chance to virtually meet a PEI Beekeeper who will explain the importance of bees and what it is like to be a beekeeper and some fun bee facts!
