The Bayer Crop Science Opportunity Scholarship is available to Canadian high school students who are enrolled in their final year of high school as of June 8, 2024 and eligible to graduate from high school in 2024. Those eligible for a scholarship must be planning to enroll at a Canadian post secondary institution (degree or diploma) in a first-year agriculture, food science or culinary program.

Masterfeeds is dedicated to the next generation of producers and we are proud to offer this annual scholarship to an individual pursuing post-secondary education in the area of agriculture within Canada. Masterfeeds will award a scholarship of $1000 to the winning applicant that can demonstrate their passion and potential through an essay about what they hope to achieve for the future of food production or other ag-related pursuits through their education. Applicants may also include what has inspired them to pursue a career field in agriculture. The individual has goals of positively fueling an area of agriculture that will help shape the future of agriculture locally, nationally or globally.
CABEF awards seven $2,500 scholarships annually to full-time students enrolling or currently in an agricultural related program at a Canadian university, college or apprenticeship institution. These scholarships are funded through generous donations from agri-business and people involved in the agricultural and food industry.
Students from across Canada are invited to apply. One scholarship will be awarded in the provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Québec, the Atlantic Provinces as a whole and one from British Columbia/Territories.
Canada’s Outstanding Young Farmers Program is proud to introduce the OYF Memorial Scholarship, to be awarded annually to two individuals pursuing post secondary education in agriculture. This scholarship is possible through the foresight of alumnus Martin Streef (Ontario 1996). Martin’s dedication to agriculture and the OYF program will help future generations pursue their passion for agriculture.
A total of three scholarships will be awarded in the amounts of $3,000, $2,000, and $1,500.

The Excellence in Ag Program is a unique scholarship and internship opportunity that helps finance a student’s education, provide valuable field experience, and build their professional career in the agribusiness industry.
The CPRC offers a Postgraduate Scholarship Supplement. The Supplement is $5,000 per year. To be eligible, a student must be studying (or planning to study) some aspect of poultry science and must also hold a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) scholarship at the Masters or Doctoral level. Details of the program including eligibility criteria and application procedures can be found on the NSERC website.
In order to attract students from a wider pool, CPRC will now also accept applications from non-NSERC scholars. Applications to the CPRC Postgraduate Scholarship, also set at $5,000 per year, will be assessed using the same criteria as the Supplement above, but applicants will not be required to hold a NSERC scholarship.

Students returning to high school in the fall are eligible for a $1000 bonus payment, while those starting or returning to full-time post-secondary studies can qualify for a $2000 bonus.
The Province of Prince Edward Island is dedicated to assisting students with the high cost of a post-secondary education. The George Coles Bursary (GCB) is a non-repayable bursary for Island students with post-secondary expenses like tuition, books, administrative fees, living expenses, etc. This non-needs-based bursary is automatically awarded to eligible students who attend PEI’s publicly funded post-secondary institutions, which are the University of Prince Edward Island, Holland College, and Collège de l'Île.
