Egg to Chick Program
Would you like to provide your students with a valuable and memorable, hands-on learning experience?

Your students can experience chicks hatching in your classroom while meeting science, language arts and math curriculum outcomes.

You will be provided with an incubator, 12-20 fertilized eggs and everything needed to hatch chicks in your classroom. The process of going from egg to chick takes 21 days, and then the chicks will be collected a few days after hatching.

Through this project, students will have an opportunity to learn about the incubation process, embryonic development, practice animal care and handling, develop a greater appreciation and understanding of agriculture and specifically the poultry industry.
